ABOUT US
CatGenocide.com was created at the beginning of 2015 when animal activist Jane Saunders (Voice of Starbucks commercials) realized the official numbers of cats euthanized were in the millions per year.
After investigation, she realized most cats were killed in a futile attempt by local body governments to convince pet owners to tag their pets and therefore pay a fee or a tax to the city or county.
In states like Virginia most shelters euthanize close to 88% of their captures within 24 hours of catching them due to space and the need for more intakes. This genocide is funded by our own tax dollars and sold to us as a common good. If you lost your cat lately, its most likely it was killed
by a "shelter" for not having an approved ID.
Jane decided if ID is what they needed, ID is what she would get them. She has since then adopted and tagged more than 1600 cats already sentenced to die in 13 states. Our goal is to tag and own 1 million cat by 2016.
37% of American families own a cat. If you own a cat and couldn't bare the idea of having it kidnapped and burnt, please help us ensure it never happens to any sweet loving cat EVER AGAIN.
A simple donation goes a long way and $100.00 will save permanently the life of up to 20 cats. Saving a life was never easier.
